Theres always a story right?… ALRIGHT here we go,

Growing up radically organic, owner, Raquel’s parents kept adventure in her life, true food on the table and real connection to nature. Baking with her mom every Sunday to make the weeks bread, Raquel found her calling……

At age 20 Raquel found she was having issues with certain foods Gluten being the biggest problem, rashes, stuffy noses, gut issues that lasted for weeks, having to start a new way of eating, what she had learned had to evolve. so the learning and experimenting began………………..

From coast through rivers to mountains, Raquel’s hunger for adventure has never ceased to exist. With her love and passion for food and her dedication to organic foods, she has spent her time cooking and baking in the mountains, and on the rivers, learning from other skilled individuals, taking what felt right and adding to her future.

After having her 2 Children, Raquel knew going back to running kitchens or bakeries was not going to work well with a single parent life, she struck out on her own……we are never alone, let me rephrase that…..with great encouragement and support from family MOUNTAIN TOP BAKERY was born!

Where the name came from ?? Great Mama Mount Hood. Raquel for awhile there skied just about everyday in winter and spring. And even bought a Cabela’s tent and wood stove to live a winter season in Welches Oregon……without Mount Hood I wound’t have my Daughters. That being said and standing strong like a Mountain, teaching my daughters the ways of real connection, True and real food, and positive adventure, I bring you MOUNTAIN TOP BAKERY, not just GLUTEN FREE but a way of life too.
